28mm Carrie Sheads House

Prepainted kit. Red brick version of earlier model.

At the time of the Battle of Gettysburg it appears the building was plain brick and wasn’t painted white until a later date.

This building was made famous as the site of a first aid station which treated the soldiers of both sides. Carrie Shead, the principal of the seminary, ran the house and spent the duration of the battle looking after the wounded.
